Quality Lock Is Certified To Work On GSA Safes & Vaults
What Is a Certified GSA Inspector and Technician?
The U.S. government only entrusts a select group of GSA (US General Services Administration) certified locksmiths with the security of its various agencies and offices, and Quality Lock is proud to be one of these companies.
In order to be named a GSA-approved locksmith, technicians must pass an extensive background check and successfully complete a special training course from Lockmasters Security Institute or MBAUSA. Once they complete their training and are certified by the GSA they are fully authorized to open, repair, and inspect a GSA file cabinet, GSA safe, and GSA vault door.
If you see a locksmith with “GSAI:T” following their name it means they’re GSA certified. A great example is Quality Lock’s owner Craig Toocheck, CRL, CJS, GSAI:T.
To learn more about the GSAI:T certification check out this page on the NAVFAC Site. You can also visit Craig’s GSA Safe Tech Blog to learn more about the world of GSA safe inspectors and technicians.
Why Use a Certified GSA Inspector and Technician?
GSA safes and vaults are the benchmarks in the security industry. These security containers are widely used by the federal government, government agencies, military, and government contractors, and servicing them requires specialized skills.
Quality Lock is your local choice for a GSA locksmith, and our services include sales, service, opening, neutralization and repair of all GSA security containers. We have met or exceeded all the US government’s requirements and are in full compliance with the Federal Standard 809C.
If you have any questions about whether or not you need a GSA Inspector and Technician, please feel free to email or call us. We’re happy to answer all your questions.
